Bringing ambient elements together with rumbling sub bass lines, Phaeleh created his own take on the sound, bringing originality to his music. In May of 2018, he released a remix to Dirt Monkey's "Lift Off which was featured on The Dub Rebellion.Matt Preston (aka Phaeleh) has been around since the early days of dubstep, emerging on the scene in 2008 with his album ‘ Fallen Light‘. In April 2018, Subdocta released "Skeleton Key" via Buyore's Fresh Blood imprint. After touring with Blue October as their Ableton tech/monitor engineer, Charles decided to dive in and create original productions.Ī breakthrough moment in Subdocta's career was when Bassnectar dropped his track "2009 was tight" during his Freestyle sessions in Denver in 2017. Production for Charles was a hobby as he was working as a sound engineer at a local concert venue. He was inspired by old dubstep to create tracks of that sort. Growing up, Charles played drums but switched to DJing/producing once he entered college. Seeing Chase & Status was another memorable moment for him as well. One of his fondest musical memories was seeing AFI and Yellowcard when he was 13. His sound is of the dubstep and trap varieties as well as mixes other hybrid styles.Ĭharles is originally from Carson City, Nevada. The response was immediate and BOOGIE T.RIO have gone on to release two EPs and perform at Electric Forest, Voodoo Fest, Red Rocks, and are are embarking on a headlining a 50+ stop national bus tour starting in January of 2019.Boogie T has toured with Ganja White Night, Snails, and co-headlined his own tour with SQUNTO in 2018. In June of 2018, Boogie T premiered his live band BOOGIE. On 4/20 of 2018, Boogie T launched his very own record label, Drama Club, with the mission to bring his fans his own music as well as signing tracks from some of his favorite artists.
